How do I safely dispose of CO₂ cylinders?

When it’s time to dispose of your CO₂ cylinder, safety comes first. Make sure the cylinder is completely empty and that the head has been pierced as this ensures it can’t be reused or accidentally discharged.

Once it’s empty and pierced, you can safely dispose of it. Our cylinders are made from 100% steel, which means they’re recyclable in many areas. We recommend checking with your local recycling facility to see if they accept CO₂ cylinders as part of their program.
